All medium
value fabrics (no lights, no darks) create contrast in this quilt.
Be careful when you choose your fabrics! Make sure the mediums you
choose are not closer to lights or darks, but are REALLY medium in
value. Of course, the recipe for homemade Caramel Sauce is included
in your pattern.
Don't worry
about matching fabrics. This is a scrap quilt. Variety makes it work
and keeps it interesting. Having said this, you don't need to make
it as scrappy as I have. If you want to choose fewer fabrics and
repeat them, this is OK.
Also, avoid large scale prints the might not read medium when
cut into small pieces.
