This quilt is the first in a series
study exploring blocks, their properties, and how their look can be
changed with fabrics that are different colors and different values.
Every block in this quilt is the same construction - an Hour Glass
Block. But the blocks don't look the same. Some are created with mostly
light fabrics, some with mostly medium fabrics, some with all medium
fabrics. Patterns are created by altering color and value in the same
block design. Secondary designs - the pinwheels in this quilt and the
sawtooth type border - can also be created with these blocks. Consider
the possibilities, have fun, and play with your blocks!
