Triple Berry Tumble combines two complementary colors, red-orange
and blue-green. Rich and intensely colorful, this quilt has
surprising accents of bright red-orange and blue-green prints.
FINISHED QUILT SIZE: 90½” x 90½”
YARDAGE:
½ yard of 16 different red-orange fabrics
½ yard of 16 different blue-green fabrics
Hint: Red-orange and blue-green are challenging colors to choose.
Be careful not to choose fabrics that are really red or really
orange rather than red-orange. Be careful not to choose fabrics that
are really blue or really green rather than blue-green. I started
choosing fabrics by looking at both the reds and oranges, then the
greens and blues. If there were fabrics in the reds that looked
orange, they were probably red-orange. If there were fabrics in the
oranges that looked red, they were probably red-orange. If there
were fabrics in the blues that looked green, they were probably
glue-green. And if there were fabrics in the greens that looked
blue, they were probably blue-green. Try this and see if it helps
you select true red-oranges and blue-greens.
